User Story

/noun/

A brief, simple description of a feature or function from the end user’s perspective, often written in the format: “As a [type of user], I want [goal] so that [benefit].” User stories are foundational in agile development, helping teams stay laser-focused on the user’s needs and guiding design and development toward a specific outcome. They’re not requirements or technical specs but more like bite-sized insights into what users actually want and why it matters—keeping the team aligned on what’s truly valuable for the user experience.
